For those with mild memory loss issues.
Support group meets on the 1st Tuesday of each month to discuss coping,
communication and other areas of concern. Then, on the third Tuesday of each
month trained facilitators will offer a program to encourage expression through
form and color.

Support and resources to family caregivers
of those living with dementia. Adult children, spouses, siblings and long
distance caregivers providing in home care or support in nursing homes. Meets at University

Early Stage Memory Loss Caregiver Support Program
This monthly group is for any primary caregivers of someone with early stage
memory loss. Meets at GSC on the 3rd Tuesday of each month from 10:30 am - 12
pm.
Living Alone

together to share our experiences and thoughts on living alone. Meets

Parkinson's Partners’ Support Group
This group provides education, resources,
and coping skills to family members of those living with Parkinson’s
Disease. Meets at GSC on the 2nd
Tuesday of the month from 1-2:30 pm.
Male Caregivers
Are there times when you don’t know where to turn for
help and feel alone? When you don’t have the energy to provide the necessary
care? When you feel resentful of your situation? When you lose your temper and
take it out on a loved one? Male caregivers are invited to participate in a new
support group at the GSC every 3rd
Thursday of the month from 3:30–5 pm. With 30 years of experience, facilitator
Alan Wittenberg, MSW, will lead this support group and provide a safe,
non-judgmental place for men to share information about their situation. This
group is intended to bring out the type of discussion that will give
participants the emotional support needed when things get tough and when things
are going well. We will learn from each other, as well as learn about useful
community resources. This support group has been made possible by a grant from

Senior Parents of Adult Children with
Mental Illness
Explores resources, education, and coping
skills related to mental illness, alcohol, and addiction problems. Meets at
Crown Hill United Methodist Church: 8500 14th Ave NW on the 2nd
Tuesday, 9:30 am - 12 pm.
Well Spouse
This group provides support to wives,
husbands, and partners of the chronically ill or disabled. Meets at GSC 1st
Monday, 4-5:30 pm. Issues discussed include communications, intimacy, self care
and future planning.
